Indications
In adjunctive treatment: injuries such as bruises and sprains, local inflammation with or without swelling, inflammation of the veins of the lower extremities, hematomas and edema after surgery and after injuries, back pain with symptoms of spinal nerve root compression.
Composition
Alpha-escin, diethylamine salicylate and heparin. The other ingredients are: carbomers, trolamine, isopropyl alcohol, methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), disodium edetate, purified water.
Action
It normalizes the permeability of capillary membranes, seals the capillary endothelium, and reduces lymph infiltration.
Dosage
Always take Aescin exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure. Aescin gel is intended for external use, topically on the skin. The preparation should be used on average 3 to 5 times a day by spreading it in a thin layer and then rubbing it into the affected area and its vicinity.
Contraindications
If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to any of the active substances or any of the other ingredients of Aescin, if you suffer from chronic kidney disease and severe renal failure in women during the first three months of pregnancy, locally to mucous membranes, skin necrosis, on the irradiated skin areas.
