ENGELHARD ARZNEIMITTEL #Pain #Sore_throat #HEALTH_CARE
Product description
The lozenges contain a hydrogel complex consisting of carbomer and xanthan gum with hyaluronic acid. Due to the water-binding capacity of xanthan gum polysaccharide and the action of the carbomer increasing its volume, a protective film is formed on the irritated mucosa. In addition, the hyaluronic acid contained in the lozenges creates a moist layer on the surface of the mucous membranes. The dry residue of a special extract from the Icelandic lungwort, lichen growing in the harsh climate of the far North, consists of over 80% mucins. This extract is released when sucking the lozenge and covers the area of the mouth and throat, soothing irritation. This stimulates salivation, thanks to which the mucosa has the opportunity to regenerate, and the most common symptoms associated with a cold and throat irritation quickly disappear.
