Indications
To reduce swelling of the mucosa in rhinitis and to treat damage to the nasal mucosa; in the treatment of non-allergic mucositis (vasomotor rhinitis); in the treatment of obstruction of the nasal passages after nasal surgery; for children from 2 to 6 years old.
Composition
1 ml of nasal solution contains 0.5 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride, 50 mg of dexpanthenol. 1 dose of the solution (0.1 ml of solution) contains 0.05 mg of xylometazoline hydrochloride and 5.0 mg of dexpanthenol as well as excipients: potassium dihydrogen phosphate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, purified water.
Action
Nasal vasoconstrictor and reducing nasal mucosa swelling and discharge; soothing the feeling of stuffy nose; promoting wound healing; protective epithelium of the nasal mucosa.
Dosage
Intranasally; the recommended dose for children over 2 years of age: 1 spray into each nostril up to 3 times a day. The dosage depends on the individual patient's sensitivity and clinical response. Long-term use of the drug may worsen the symptoms of nasal blockage. Do not use for more than 7 days, unless your doctor tells you otherwise. Re-use is only possible after a break of several days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug; dry rhinitis with the formation of scabs; following surgery to remove the pituitary gland or other surgery that exposes the meninges (the lining of the brain); children under 2 years of age.
