Product description
Tablets "Toccata" are used for the symptomatic treatment of muscle spasm in adults after a stroke.
Structure
The active ingredient is tolperisone hydrochloride (one film-coated tablet contains 150 mg of tolperisone hydrochloride).
Excipients:
- core: lactose, monohydrate; corn starch; microcrystalline cellulose; talc; stearic acid; anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide; citric acid, monohydrate;
- shell: opadry 03F180011 white (hypromellose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol).
Contraindications
- hypersensitivity to the active substance or a similar chemical composition of eperisone, or to any of the excipients of the preparation;
- myasthenia gravis;
- lactation period.
Mode of application
The preparation should be taken after meals with one glass of water. Insufficient food intake can reduce the bioavailability of tolperisone.
Adults: depending on individual needs and tolerance - 150-450 mg per day for 3 doses.

Pregnant
Given the lack of significant clinical data on the use of this preparation, tolperisone should not be used during pregnancy.
Children
The safety and efficacy of tolperisone in children have not been studied.
Drivers
Given the possibility of developing symptoms such as dizziness, drowsiness, impaired attention, epilepsy, blurred vision, the preparation should be used with caution when driving or operating other mechanisms.
Overdose
Data on overdose of tolperisone are insufficient.
Overdose symptoms can mainly include drowsiness, gastrointestinal manifestations (nausea, vomiting, epigastric pain), tachycardia, hypertension, bradykinesia, and vertigo. In severe cases, there have been reports of seizures and coma.
There is no specific antidote for tolperisone. In case of overdose, symptomatic treatment is recommended.
Side effects
The safety profile of tablets containing tolperisone is based on data from more than 12,000 patients. According to these data, the most common adverse reactions were disorders of the skin and subcutaneous tissue, systemic disorders, disorders of the nervous and digestive systems.
Storage conditions
The preparation does not require special storage conditions. Store in original packaging and out of reach of children.
