Product description
Primolut-Nor is indicated for secondary amenorrhea and endometriosis.
Compound
active ingredient: norethisterone acetate;
1 tablet contains 5 mg norethisterone acetate;
excipients: lactose, corn starch, povidone 25000, talc, magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
Do not use Primolut-Nor in the presence of any of the conditions or diseases listed below. If one of them occurs during treatment with Primolut-Nor, the preparation should be stopped immediately.
Pregnancy or suspicion of it.
Breastfeeding.
History of venous or arterial thrombotic/thromboembolic events (eg, myocardial infarction, stroke, transient ischemic attack, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary thromboembolism).
Presence or history of precursors of thrombosis (such as transient ischemic attack, angina pectoris).
The presence of high risk factors for arterial thrombosis (see Section "Peculiarities of use").
Migraine with a history of focal neurological symptoms.
Diabetes mellitus with vascular complications.
Severe liver disease, present or past, until liver function tests return to normal.
Dubin-Johnson syndrome, Rotor syndrome, as well as jaundice or cases of severe pruritus during previous pregnancies.
Previous cases of gestational pemphigoid (pregnancy herpes).
Benign or malignant tumors of the liver at present or in the past.
Malignant tumors dependent on the influence of sex hormones, or suspicion of their presence (for example, the genital organs or the mammary gland).
Hypersensitivity to norethisterone or to any of the auxiliary components of the preparation.
A history of idiopathic jaundice or severe itching during pregnancy.
Vaginal bleeding of unknown etiology.
Untreated endometrial hyperplasia.
The use of direct-acting antiviral preparations containing ombitasvir, paritaprevir, or dasabuvir, or combinations thereof (see Section "Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction").
Mode of application
Tablets are taken with a small amount of liquid and without chewing.

The preparation should not be used in children.
Overdose
Acute toxicity studies have not shown a risk of acute adverse reactions in case of accidental administration of the preparation at a dose several times higher than the daily therapeutic dose.
Adverse reactions
From the reproductive system and mammary glands. Uterine/vaginal bleeding, including spotting*.
Light menstruation (hypomenorrhea*)
Interaction
Laboratory tests. The use of progestogens may affect the results of certain laboratory tests.

Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 ° C, out of the reach of children.
