Each bacterium is covered with a double lipid layer, providing an effective barrier and allowing the bacteria to safely pass through the acidic environment of the stomach to reach the intestines intact, where it is to exhibit its biological activity. The preparation also contains the addition of plantain extract. Additionally, it supports the normal functioning of the intestines.
